Doki Doki Literature Club Plus Adds New Stories, New Scares

A few minutes ago, during the IGN Expo 2021 Livestream, we saw the announcement for an expanded and upgraded version of Doki Doki Literature Club. With new side stories, improved visuals, expanded soundtracks and more, Doki Doki Literature Club Plus seems to be a thorough update to the entire game. Not only that, it will be taken to new audiences; the game will soon be available on consoles. 

This critically acclaimed psychological horror, created by developer Team Salvato, took audiences by surprise due to its colorful and fun high-school-anime veneer. Players expected Doki Doki Literature Club to be a whimsical high-school adventure. What they got was a bewildering and terrifying fourth-wall-breaking experience that has influenced dozens of horror games since its release.
