Long Await New Vegas Mod The Frontier Is Like A Whole Extra Game
Has patrolling the Mojave ever made you wish for a nuclear winter? It certainly has for the developers of upcoming Fallout: New Vegas – The Frontier mod. Set in the snowy wastes of the former Portland Oregon, this mod is a continuation of the courier’s story from New Vegas. All of your favorite friends are here, including the NCR, Caesar’s Legion, and even the Enclave.
The Frontier is enormous. This massive mod adds 45+ hours of main quests, and countless more in exploration, dropping cans from your inventory, and all that other fun Fallout stuff. As the Steam page reads:
In the cold, snowy streets of Portland Oregon, the New California Exiles and Caesar’s Legion fight for the domination of a city rich in resources and military hardware, but what lies in wait under the snowy ruins…
The map of Fallout: New Vegas – The Frontier is roughly the same size as the DC Wasteland from Fallout 3. With over 24,000 lines of voiced dialogue, 150 weapons and armors, 3 major questlines, and a goddamn Mad Max car (and other vehicles too), this may very well be the biggest DLC yet for a Fallout game. And it’s not even an official expansion!
