Bloober Team Releases 14 Minute Gameplay Video of The Medium

I’m all for a good scare, and Bloober Team have pretty consistently been some of the best for scares. Their newly released gameplay video of The Medium shows that isn’t changing any time soon.

The video is uninterrupted and has no narration from the developers, so you have a chance to really appreciate the work that went into the game. It especially shines in the sound design department. From hotel bells catching the character’s attention to the creepy whispering that plays when inspecting elements in the world. When combined with a fantastic soundtrack, it makes for one great experience.

Of course, the adventure gameplay also looks great. We get a good look at the dual world system, which sees the main character exist in two worlds at the same time. This means the game is split down the middle, and you can see both worlds at the same time. Sometimes Mary Ann becomes trapped in one world, or can use an out of body experience to move herself around. There’s also a terrifying monster which exists in both worlds, and you’ll have to sneak away from it. All of it combines into a rather terrifying experience.
