Resident Evil Re:Verse Launching Next Month, Village Getting DLC

During today’s Capcom E3 conference, we finally got to know when we can get our hands on Resident Evil Re:Verse, and Capcom teased some DLC for Resident Evil Village.

They started out by briefly bringing up Resident Evil Re:Verse, the competitive multiplayer shooter that anyone who purchased Village will get for free. While an exact date wasn’t given, Re:Verse will be launching in July. The shooter sees two teams fighting against each other, with players able to play as their favorite characters in the Resident Evil franchise, along with getting the chance to play as some of the monsters as well. It also features a goofy comic book art style, and looks like it’ll be at least a little weird fun as a distraction.

Additionally, Capcom said they would be working on DLC for Resident Evil Village. What this DLC will actually entail is a total mystery. The entire note from Capcom said that they were thankful for the number of people who played the game and that, due to high demand, they just began work on DLC. While there are totally some obvious guesses, such as something based around the extremely popular Lady Dimestrcu or what Chris was doing while the main game was going on until Capcom says anything official all we know is that it exists. Hopefully we’ll learn more before long, as I’d love to return to the world of Resident Evil Village soon.

If you don’t own Resident Evil Village yet, you can grab the game on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S right now. If you want to know more about the game, you can also read Dread XP’s extremely positive review of it. Anyone who buys Village will also get a free copy of Re:Verse when it launches next month.
