Take Your Horror Wherever You Go Thanks to Infliction: Extended Cut’s Switch Release
It may be tough finding a way to be scared outside of home. After all, it’s not like you can take a TV with you. Thankfully, you can take a Nintendo Switch, and the latest release of horror game Infliction: Extended Cut allows you to take horror on the go. Just in case you want to get scared on an airplane, train, or other location.
A psychological horror game where you explore a normal suburban house, you know things just have to go wrong. The house continues to twist and mutate in horrible ways that you just know mean something awful happened. Furthermore, monsters begin to wander around, looking to kill you. You’ll often find yourself in new, twisted, locations that don’t even seem vaguely related to where you were before. Soon you have to wonder if there’s any way out.
If you want to survive, you’ll need to find a way to escape. To do that, you’ll have to piece together clues, avoiding monsters while solving puzzles. You’ll learn the history of a family where it doesn’t quite seem like everything was nice and happy, which probably shouldn’t be that much of a surprise. After all, it is a horror game.
Infliction: Extended Cut just hit the Nintendo Switch. However, the game is also available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. You can grab the PC version here if you’re interested.
