Our daily Daily Dose dose today is a tiny Game Boy throwback. Channeling the aesthetic of Final Fantasy Adventure is a demo by itch.io user Spicy Fuse called Abyss Story. The current build of the demo is quite short, but still a worthwhile few minutes of your time for a nostalgic experience.

Abyss Story takes place, well, in an abyss. You play as a mysterious character dressed in old-timey aquanaut apparel as they perform a ritual that sends him to the next life, or perhaps the area between life and death. Despite the game being exclusively shades of green, the atmosphere is incredibly well done, and there is a lot of character put into such an early build.

Although the demo is still not yet complete, you can try out the current build and see for yourself how cool of a game this will be. You can try out Abyss Story for yourself by clicking here.
