Fly High And Fight Shadow Monsters In The Pathless

Giant Squid unveiled today a new gameplay video of their upcoming game The Pathless. Created by the same devs as ABZÛ, in The Pathless you play as the Hunter, an archer accompanied by an eagle companion. This new title is an open-world game that looks similar to Breath of the Wild, but with higher mobility and interesting powers.

Using a number of different abilities, both the Hunter’s and the eagles, you must search the forests and dispel some kind of curse. Solving puzzles and defeating enemies, there doesn’t seem to be a straightforward story in The Pathless. Perhaps that’s where the title comes from? It’s all about exploration. “There is no map- the huntress can use her mask and peer into the spirit world.”
