Calling all 13,729 Wasteland 3 Early Access Backers, Your Beta Goes Live Today!

Good news for all the Wasteland 3 early backers. If you’re one of the people that committed at the $25 Early Bird tier, you now have access to the Wasteland 3 beta. This is a long time coming, as the game originally met its funding goal in November of 2016. If you’re one of those committed 13,729 that pledged between the $25 Early Bird tier and the $75 Alpha Access tier, you should have already gotten an email from inXile Entertainment about your Wasteland 3 beta key.

The rest of us will just have to wait until May 19th to get our hands on Wasteland 3. The spiritual successor to Fallout and actual successor to Wasteland, Wasteland 3 is the kind of hardcore top-down RPG played by the truly deranged. I got a hands-on with it at PAX East, and I loved it. You got like a billion skill checks, rocket launchers weigh you down, and if you run out of ammo you’re boned. Good times.
