Evil Dead: The Game Adds New Survivors, Weapons

Evil Dead: The Game just got eviler and deader. The latest DLC bundle includes two new characters, and the update came with a free pair of weapons and new single player side mission. The PVP/PvE multiplayer title is available now on the PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One, and PC (through Epic Games Store).

Mia is a machete-wielding master who can become temporarily immune to possession. The more she’s on edge and afraid, the more her damage increases, making her a force to be reckoned with. David Allen plays much differently, able to reduce fear and damage sustained by himself and nearby allies while killing the forces of evil. Mia also gets a second outfit and a ‘screamer’ image skin. It’s all part of the Season Pass 1, but you can snag it for $9.99 (or local equivalent) if you’d prefer. Part of the update includes the syringe, a close-range weapon, and the nail gun to deliver pain from a perfectly safe distance.

Evil Dead: The Game Machete
The machete is a deadly chopping weapon. Though a fire axe has the distressing tendency to rebound off of vertebrae.

Inspired by the classic horror humor blend in the Evil Dead franchise, Evil Dead: The Game is a massive crossover event bringing the biggest names in the series together. Work with up to three other Survivors to fend off the Deadites while trying to banish the Kandarian Demon, or become the Demon using its powers of possession and bring humanity to its knees. Bonus single-player missions top off the gameplay, letting even the most friendless Survivor fight back against the darkness.
