Flee From Dinosaurs in Jurassic World Aftermath Part 2

Earlier this year Jurassic World Aftermath came to Oculus Quest, giving us a chance to sneak away from terrifying dinosaurs. Now it’s being followed up with an expansion next month.

A trailer premiered at the Future Games Show during Gamescon today, showing off the sequel. Simply called Jurassic World Aftermath Part 2, the game will pick up where the first one left off. Which is to say, you’re trapped in the ruins of Jurassic World between the two movies, and you’re trying to get things and get out. Of course, there’s a problem with that: there are dinosaurs. The first game mostly had to deal with raptors who travel in packs and are clever girls. A deadly threat. However, the trailer for Part 2 featured the real star of the show: a T-rex. It’s big, it’s scary, and it’s going to be in your way. You don’t have to wait long either, as Part 2 will be launching on September 30th. Also, the game has Jeff Goldblume doing voice acting. Who doesn’t love that man?

If you missed it, Jurassic World Aftermath launched exclusively for the Oculus Quest platform right at the end of 2020. The game put you in the role of someone who crash-lands on Isla Nublar, which is a problem when the island is full of dinosaurs. To survive you need to go through the ruins of Jurassic World, a theme park that allowed people to hang out on the island and get up close and personal with the dinosaurs. You know, like a zoo. If you haven’t seen the movies, they’re a classic and I strongly suggest doing so.

If you’re interested in Jurassic World Aftermath Part 2 then it’ll launch exclusively on Oculus Quest on September 30th. You can grab the first part right here.
