Kao the Kangaroo Spooky DLC Hopping to You Next Week
Kao the Kangaroo will launch some spooky DLC next week just in time for Halloween, according to Tate Multimedia. Find it on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Steam, and the Epic Games Store starting next Thursday, the 13. A trailer accompanied the announcement on the Tate Multimedia channel.
Oh! Well will include five new Eternal Wells to master and five different skins to unlock. It’s all just in time for the season. The DLC will test Kao and his skills to the limit The Kao the Kangaroo A Well Good Bundle includes the full game as well as all of the DLC in one go. The Oh! Well DLC retails for $6.99 (or local equivalent) and the A Well Good Bundle includes two additional free DLC packs (Summer Drip, Top of the Class) and the full game for $34.99 (or regional equivalent).
Kao the Kangaroo launched earlier this year on major platforms with both English and Polish dubs. It is running a special promotion until October 12 for 20% off. It Drawing on the heyday of 3D platformers, it incorporates decades of advancement in game design for a puzzle-solving, item collecting jumpathon. The original game made it to Polish markets in late 2000, with the Dreamcast and Windows versions crossing the Atlantic in early 2001. A Game Boy Advance version followed, though it differed significantly from the original game. Sequel Kao the Kangaroo: Round 2 hopped onto GameCubes, PlayStation 2s, and Windows several years later.
Developer and publisher Tate Multimedia S.A. works out of Poland. The indie team is the original creator of Kao as well as the Urban Trial series and the award-winning Steel Rats.
