Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 Release Date Changed To 2021

Good things come to those who wait. So in a way, it’s actually good that the release for Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 has been pushed back a bit. Originally scheduled to come out in late 2020 (presumably around the holiday season, based on this totally horrific trailer), Hardsuit Labs revealed that it will now arrive sometime in 2021.

As they posted on their Twitter

Our goal has always been to deliver the ebay game possible, to immerse you into a Seattle re-imagined in the World of Darkness, and deliver a worthy successor to the original Bloodlines game. Due to the quality bar and ambitions we have set for ourselves, we have made the difficult decision that we need more time. This means that our goal to release in 2020 is no longer possible. Moving launch is one of the changes we are making to ensure the best player experience possible.

Disappointing for fans of the series, but ultimately a good choice. Many will remember the notoriously janky experience of Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines, and more time to iron out the kinks is worth the wait. In fact, it will give people all the more time to try out the original game, one of the best RPGs of all time.
