Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Heart of the Forest, created by Walkabout Games, is a closer adaptation to the source material than Earthblood. Coming in the form of a decision based visual novel, Heart of the Forest plays more like a classic text based game, albeit one with some fantastic art.

Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Heart of the Forest is just a small part of the much larger Werewolf: The Apocalypse universe. Set in a world where werewolves, protectors of nature, battle the ever-expanding destruction of mankind’s industrial progress. Heart of the Forest has you playing as Maia, a lady visiting Poland, where “she will discover her family’s dark secrets and reveal hidden truths about the last wilderness of Central Europe.”
