Blair Witch Coming to Oculus Quest This Halloween

Have you ever looked to be totally spooked? If you’ve played Blair Witch when it came out last year then you likely got it. However, as a pleasant surprise, Bloober Team is celebrating its one year anniversary with Blair Witch: Oculus Quest Edition, which brings the game to the VR platform on October 29th.

This new version of the game will be completely playable from start to finish on Oculus Quest. The VR means that parts of the game will have to be changed for how you can interact with it. For example, you can pick up items in the environment that you couldn’t before. This gives you some goofy extra options, like being able to just pick up sticks and snap them in two. Perhaps most important, though, is that you can physically reach down and pet Bullet, the very good dog companion.

In addition to this, there are some improvements being made to the game as a whole. Bloober Team noted that they added new sound effects and events through out the game, to keep players on their toes. Along with this, more encounters against the mysterious monster that you occasionally stumble across have been added. All of this means that, even if you’ve played Blair Witch before, the VR version will offer more than just a VR update.

If you want Blair Witch: Oculus Quest Edition then you can nab it on October 29th. Bloober Team says other platforms will get a VR version a few months down the line.
