Forgive Me Father, HYPERVIOLENT Launching Demos for Steam Next Fest

The next Steam Next Fest will run from October 1 until October 7, showcasing a variety of upcoming titles with playable demos and updates. Retro horror FPS Forgive Me Father and old-school FPS HYPERVIOLENT will join the celebrations with playable demos.

Forgive Me Father draws inspiration from horror grandfather H.P. Lovecraft, set in a comic-book style world. As the only person with full control of their faculties, the player travels and searches for answers and relief to the suffering. There’s a short trailer to check out ahead of time, courtesy of 1C Entertainment. Forgive Me Father will enter Early Access starting October 26 of this year. You can Wishlist and follow Forgive Me Father on the official Steam page to get the latest news.

HYPERVIOLENT also boasts an old-school design and will appear at next month’s Steam Next Fest with a playable demo.

HYPERVIOLENT borrows the aesthetic of sprite-based 3D games from the 90s. The player responds to a distress signal sent from Commodus Asteroid 27-C, a rather desolate mining colony. A violent outbreak has overrun the colony and ravaged its inhabitants. Only by uncovering the station’s secrets as you explore the labyrinthine corridors can one hope to survive. There’s another trailer, also courtesy of 1C Entertainment. Check it out now. HYPERVIOLENT releases sometime next year. You can Wishlist it and follow development on its official Steam page. Developer Terminist Arcade previously created Guns of Midnight and released it in 2019.
