GreedFall Getting Next Gen Port and New Expansion

Its always good to see a new IP succeed. Such is the case with GreedFall, an RPG that launched in late 2019 developed by Spiders. Now the game will be making its way to next-gen consoles, and is getting all new content.

There isn’t actually that much news about all of this yet. All we know is that GreedFall will be launching on the Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 at a currently unannounced date, though likely in 2021. Publisher NACON purchased developer Spiders in 2019, but Focus Home Interactive has announced they will be working with NACON for this new port. There’s also the announcement that GreedFall has broken a million copies sold.

If you missed the game the first go around, GreedFall is an RPG set in a fantasy world. The game features a protagonist exploring a new country in the hopes of finding a cure for a disease back home. The world itself is home to many creatures, and quite a bit of magic, and before long the hero gets involved in a story that sees him either helping take the country over, or help fight back against his own country and keep the people free.

GreedFall is currently available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
