New Outriders Co-op Gameplay Clip Shows Off Technomancer Class, Lots of Shooting

The next generation of consoles looks like it’s bringing all sorts of interesting new games to play. One such game is Outriders, an upcoming third person shooter/RPG hybrid. We’ve gotten to see quite a bit of the game by now, but the latest video shows off one of the classes you can play.

A big part of the video is showing off the Technomancer’s abilities. If you ever wanted to make turrets that do everything from regular shooting to lobbing rockets across the battlefield, this may be the class for you. This also meant getting to throw specialized grenades that exploded with electrical current, and turning your gun into a rocket launcher for brief periods of time. Overall, the class looks perfect to jump into if you want to make people go boom at a distance.

We also got a chance to see one of the game’s levels, which almost looks like a twisted version of World War 1. Two armies are battling it out in trench warfare, and the group of players finds themselves marching across no man’s land in an effort to take a hilltop. It’s an intense segment, and it looked like a pretty awesome in action, especially when all three players are fighting at once.

If Outriders seems like your jam, the game is set to launch some time in 2020 on PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. You can add the game to your wishlist here.
