Slender: The Arrival Coming to Mobiles this Month

Blue Isle Studios announced today that their indie title Slender: The Arrival is coming to mobile devices. Starting October 13, players can wander the dark, gloomy woods in search for answers as an internet-infamous malevolent force and its associates stalk them. The mobile port will include the entire PC and console experience on the go. A trailer accompanied the announcement made earlier today.

In celebration, the first chapter will be available for free. Players will be able to see for themselves if they can handle the tension. One can pre-order the title on the Apple App Store. It will require iOS or iPadOS 7.0 or later to play, or macOS 11.0 or later on a Mac device. The mobile version includes online leaderboards, competition scores, mobile-exclusive achievements, and controller support for iOS devices. It will also come to Android devices and can be found on the Google Play Store.

Slender: The Arrival pits the player against the Slender Man, described in eyewitness accounts as a very tall, rail-thin figure in a black suit with a blank face. It originally released in late October 2013 on the PC and Mac systems. One can pick up Slender: The Arrival on Steam now for $9.99 or your regional equivalent. Blue Isle Studios collaborated with Eric “Victor Surge” Knudsen, the original creator of the Slender Man mythos, along with Mark Hadley, creator of the original Slender game. Slender: The Arrival is available on the Xbox 360 and Xbox One, the PlayStation 3 and 4, the Wii U, and the Nintendo Switch.

Blue Isle Studios, founded in 2010, is based in the city of Toronto. Led by industry veterans Alex Tintor and Brenden Frank, the studio has developed and published millions of copies of games across the globe. The small team’s other projects include Citadel: Forged with Fire and Valley, an online magical sandbox RPG and first-person adventure, respectively.
