The Dark Pictures Anthology: House of Ashes Gets New Trailer

The Dark Pictures Anthology: House of Ashes received a new trailer this week. The title is the latest in a series of standalone horror games with branching narratives and an emphasis on cinematic design. Each game includes a new story, setting, and cast with support for single-player, online two-player experiences, and up to five players in a movie-night mode.

House of Ashes opens with a military unit from the United States skirmishing with Iraqi forces. Their combat causes the earth to rumble beneath their feet and the ground to collapse. Both parties fall into the depths of the earth beneath the Zagros mountains. To their regret and horror, however, they are not alone in this mysterious cavern. Something dark and sinister has awakened. Will these people be able to set their preconceived notions of their enemies aside in the face of greater danger?

It will arrive just in time for Halloween on the PlayStation 4 and 5, the Xbox One and Series X|S consoles, and the PC. The PC version is available as a Steam release, where you can also Wishlist and follow it for the latest news. House of Ashes marks the third game in The Dark Pictures Anthology franchise.
