The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners New Update Lets You Sin Forever

Everyone loves killing zombies. The Walking Dead, as a series, has plenty of that. Sure it’s really about the human drama in the time of a zombie apocalypse, but there’s still plenty of zombies that need to be put down. When The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners came out, it gave players a rather unique and well liked chance to do this in VR. Now a free update is adding even more zombies to kill.

Titled “The Meatgrinder Update,” the update is available right now for free for all platforms of the game. The big addition is The Trial, which serves as a hoard mode. You don’t start out with much other than a screwdriver and some money to get at least one weapon, but the more you play the more you can earn. You also can’t just kill zombies and call it a day, if you really want to get to the top of the leaderboard you need to do it with style. Do good enough, and you may even finish the full trial.

This isn’t the only addition. There’s also a new difficulty option, called Story Mode, that makes the game easier, for players who are more interested in just the story. There’s also a new weapon called Absolution, which appears to be a pair of katanas that you can do cool tricks with, such as throw one into a zombie’s face before using the other to cut another zombie’s head off. While it may not be a gameplay mechanic, there’s also the promise of more updates, which is always nice to have.
