Welcome back for your Daily Dose of indie horror! Today, indie action horror. They Grow is a game by developer Davide Puato. Previously featured for their excellent Haunted PS1 vampire game Night Feed, this action platformer is a bite-sized horror heavily inspired by The Thing.
In They Grow you play a man infected by some kind of mutagen. As a person doomed, you volunteer to venture into an infected hotel and retrieve some samples of the virus, in hopes of making your last moments count. But this building is full of other infected former humans, and the longer it takes for you to get through and finish them off, the more they have the chance to grow.
