No More Heroes 3 Announces Release Date (For Real This Time)

During today’s Nintendo Direct, a new trailer announcing the No More Heroes 3 release date was revealed. Previously delayed due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the game is now set to launch in August. At long last, Travis Touchdown, a bunch of aliens, and a handful of new abilities will be arriving in Santa Destroy.

As you could probably guess, No More Heroes 3 takes place after the events of the second game. With Travis establishing himself again as the world’s best assassin, the logical next step is to take on the assassins not from this world. A whole host of space goons have arrived on earth, and you must use your laser sword and a new powerglove to fend them off. 

For those unfamiliar with the series, No More Heroes is not simply about hacking and slashing your way to the top. You also have to do a lot of chores. With a high cost of entry for each ranked assassin fight, you’ll need to keep filling your piggy bank in order to reach the top.
