Zombie Army 4 Gains Left 4 Dead Cast as Free DLC
Zombie Army 4 announced today that four classic survivors from Valve’s Left 4 Dead series will join the roster. Bill, Francis, Zoey, and Louis are now free DLC in the latest Season 3 update. This isn’t the first instance of Valve’s zombie shooter crossing over into other properties. Dead by Daylight features Bill as a survivor. Resident Evil 6 also featured the Left 4 Dead 2 survivors playable in the PC-exclusive No Mercy Mercenaries mode.
Zombie Army 4: Dead War is an action shooter. 1-4 players work together to defeat shambling hordes of undead in 1940s Europe. Each weapon features different gameplay mechanics and abilities to thin the hordes of zombies while they lurch ever closer.
Season Pass owners can pick up Abaddon Asylum for Zombie Army 4 now. Players can also pick up the new campaign mission as standalone DLC. Abaddon Asylum is the second part of the Return to Hell campaign, which takes place after Terminal Error. The squad must work their way through Abaddon Asylum to track down Baron Umbra and thwart his plans. There are some other goodies as well, including the World War 1 Joshua Outfit, World War 2 Headgear Pack, the MP.1940 SMG Bundle, and Zombie Tank Weapon Skins.
Right now, Zombie Army 4: Dead War is on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Google Stadia, and PC platforms (Epic Games Store, Steam, and the Microsoft War). The PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles boast new-gen features for owners of those consoles. The Left 4 Dead survivors remain free on all platforms.
